Book club no. 8: Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf’s famous novel Mrs. Dalloway turns 100 this year.

Læseklub 7 Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) was a major part of the artistic and literary Bloomsbury Group and helped to pioneer the use of stream of consciousness narration as a literary device.

We have chosen three of her iconic novels – all written in this special writing style filled with associations, reflections and inner monologues.

The first one is probably her most famous novel, Mrs. Dalloway, which was first published 100 years ago.

The conversation will take place in English.

The bookclub will meet every second Thursday in the month between 12.00-13.30 at Gentofte Main Library
